I started Pilates in 2018 to keep myself fit during a period when I was ill at home due to my epilepsy.
Pilates became my respite and the place where I could focus on getting stronger and improving myself - without being inhibited by epilepsy. Pilates is a deep and thorough form of exercise where body awareness, breathing and knowledge of your own body's strengths and weaknesses are emphasised as much as physical strength, flexibility and mobility.
You also become part of a family of embracing, skilled, and loving people at Pilates Cph, where they focus on your individual needs.
Pilates makes me stronger and more body conscious, but it also has a great psychologically positive effect on me. I become calmer and more connected to my body, and I bring this with me when I leave the gym.
