”Not a bad word about physiotherapy, fitness, massage, chiropractic, yoga, surgery and painkillers. I've been struggling with a herniated disc for a long time and have tried it all with varying degrees of success. But I have to say that my private classes at Pilates Cph have done something for my back that nothing else has. I don't believe in miracles, but with Pilates we come pretty close.”.

Martin Krasnik, Editor-in-Chief - Takes private classes at Pilates Cph.

We also believe that Pilates is the absolute best form of exercise when your focus is rehabilitation after injury or surgery.

If you have an injury, such as a herniated disc, we recommend that you start with private lessons.

How many private lessons you need depends on factors such as the extent and format of the injury, your age and lifestyle, diet, genetics and a host of other factors.

Our team of highly qualified instructors are always ready to offer you a tailor-made and precisely planned rehabilitation programme, for us it is important that your rehabilitation is as successful as possible.

It's your quality of life, your well-being and your future that WE care about.

To make a difference, it's important to focus on the small details of your movements. We take exercises apart, analyse where the movements don't work optimally and build them back up again. In this way, you will significantly improve your strength and movement patterns. At the same time, your rehabilitation will be both preventive training to prevent future injuries and restorative training to make you strong.

We take into account your pain, discomfort and everything else that comes with your injury, and we help you increase your strength where you need it most. At the same time, we always focus on the big picture and address the whole body in every single workout.

Private training takes place on specially developed equipment designed to assist and fulfil your needs.

Did you know?

Pilates is a highly specialised training system and the equipment you train with has been developed over many years and has been used, for example, to rehabilitate wounded soldiers in a war camp in England during World War I.
Pilates training was incredibly valuable as rehabilitation for the soldiers, and many of those who received this training said that Pilates training was the main reason they survived a severe flu epidemic that started a few years after the war and took many lives.

Pilates is still a prominent form of rehabilitation for war veterans and many other groups of people with injuries and physical trauma.

A healthy future

Once you are well into your training and you and your personal trainer agree that it is safe and sound, you will have the opportunity to combine your private training with the type of group training that suits you. We offer both Reformer/Tower classes and restorative classes with up to four participants, and larger classes with 10-14 participants.

This way, your personalised rehabilitation programme will be safe and tailored to you and progress at your pace.

Your instructor is with you at all times to guide, guide and help you to get exactly what you need out of your training.

And to give you the best opportunity to get off to a good start, we're currently offering free group training sessions when you book private lessons:

Then it's up to you to find the routine that's right for YOU!
