What is Pilates?

Pilates is a highly specialised training system that has historically been used both for rehabilitation and to optimise physical function by dancers and actors in New York, among others.
Today, Pilates is still a very precise and effective method that can be adapted to all needs. In private and duo classes, you'll be guided through the exercises in detail, making the training functional and directly transferable to your everyday life - work, leisure and sport.
Training takes place on classic Pilates equipment such as Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair and Barrels, allowing you to support, relieve and challenge the body precisely.

My herniated disc was bad and physiotherapy almost made it worse. My individual training programme at Pilates Cph is the best investment I've ever made! After a year of constant and debilitating pain, I'm now in top shape and my planned back surgery has been cancelled.

Not a bad word about physiotherapy, fitness, massage, chiropractic, yoga, surgery and painkillers. I've been struggling with a herniated disc for 15 years and have tried it all with varying degrees of success. But I have to say that my private classes at Pilates Cph have done something for my back that nothing else has. I don't believe in miracles, but with Pilates we come pretty close
