Intro course to Pilates
To get the most out of your training, we recommend that you start with either a class intro programme or our individual start-up package
INTRO TO PILATES
Pilates can make a big difference to pain, tension and the way you use your body. A good start makes all the difference.
That's why we always recommend an introductory programme to give you a safe and structured start.
You can choose from two options below - depending on your needs.
Intro course - Team (Matwork)
3 closed intro classes + 5 clips for classes
Our intro programme gives you a thorough introduction to the Pilates method.
In the three closed classes, we work with the principles of the Pilates method, including breathing and core exercises, to give you a solid foundation. You'll learn how to activate the right muscles and build strength, stability and mobility to make your body stronger, more stable and more mobile, also in everyday life. At the same time, you'll learn about our tools such as Springboards, Barrels, balls, Magic Circles and more.
You'll then have 5 sessions in our regular Matwork class where you can continue to work on what you've learnt and gradually build more strength and control.
Pilates doesn't work overnight. Over time, many experience less daily back, neck and shoulder pain, more energy and a body that functions better in everyday life. Pilates is both restorative and preventative.
The programme is for you if:
- Feel tension or have recurring body aches
- Want to build strength and stability from within
- Want to practice Pilates in classes with a maximum of 10 participants and personal, thorough guidance
Price: 1,049 kr.
(Clips valid for 90 days after purchase)
In addition, you get access to our online intro video.
Starter Pack - 1:1 & Teams
3 private lessons + 3 clips for classes
The start-up package is for those who need a more personalised start.
In the three private classes, we start with your body and your history. We look at how you move, where you compensate, and how we can help you use your body more appropriately before you start classes.
Three private lessons give you a good starting point. For some, this is sufficient before a class. Others need a longer individual programme - we'll assess this together.
The programme is for you if:
- Have persistent or recurring pain
- Have completed a course of treatment (e.g. physiotherapist, osteopath or chiropractor) and want to ensure that the effect is maintained
- Unsure how to exercise without aggravating your discomfort
- Want an individual assessment before joining a class
Pilates is often used as part of rehabilitation and prevention. The training is customised step-by-step to help you build strength and mobility, learn to move correctly and better sense and respond to signals. Over time, pain and tension are reduced.
When your body is ready, you continue in class and work on what you've learnt.
Price: 2,495 kr.
(Clips valid for 90 days after purchase)
In addition, you get access to our online intro video.
