“I've suffered from severe tension headaches all my life. When I started Pilates it was to strengthen my muscles and flexibility after having four children. I've tried massage, physiotherapy, lots of exercise, relaxation, etc. But nothing has worked for my headaches, so I've just accepted that headaches are a (too big) part of my life.
But miracles do happen. Because since I've started Pilates, they've just gradually become less and less severe.
It's indescribable how liberating it is not to be as much a slave to my physique as I sometimes have been.... Look, it was a gift in addition to a more resilient body I hadn't expected at all”
