Matwork Cph™ by Pilates Cph
Learn how to teach Pilates in a class
We offer Denmark's leading instructor training programme in classical Pilates. The programme is for everyone, regardless of background, who has an interest in Pilates. You will learn the necessary theory and how to teach all the classic exercises at a high level. The programme is ideal for those who want to learn more about Pilates, either to immerse yourself in your own training, or want a side job as a class instructor, and for those who are considering changing track completely. You don't need to have a background in teaching, as long as you have the interest and commitment.
At Pilates Cph, we take future instructors seriously. Effective and correct Pilates is all about the small details, which is why a complete education requires that you learn to understand the exercises and analyse the body's movement patterns. This way, you will be able to correct and guide your students in a relevant and appropriate way. Our programme gives you exactly the prerequisites you need if you want to teach Pilates in a class.
The Matwork programme gives you job opportunities both at home and abroad. You can also choose to study on our Comprehensive programme and become a fully certified Pilates instructor to the highest international standards.
Note! The programme is taught in Danish.
Throughout the programme you will be taught by:
Gitte Peirano: Trained relaxation educator and classical and modern Pilates instructor at Power Pilates and Kathy Grant's Heritage Training, among others.
Camilla Bækholm: Trained physiotherapist and classical and modern Pilates instructor at Power Pilates and Kathy Grant's Heritage Training, among others.
We are both NCPT (Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher)
Together, we form a competent and experienced team and we ensure that you gain the knowledge, confidence and practical skills needed to teach quality Pilates classes. Over the past 15 years, we have trained more than 200 Pilates Instructors.

TESTIMONIAL
“Pilates Cph has been the perfect choice for me. I have really enjoyed diving into Classical Pilates, which in my opinion is most important when it comes to Pilates knowledge. Both Gitte and Camilla have been fantastic teachers who have shown great knowledge and passion for Pilates. They are both very nice people who radiate good energy and calmness. The atmosphere has been great and relaxed, which has been really important to me as I lead a busy life on the side.”
